NTC Policy

At Newbury Tailoring Co., we take great pride in delivering high-quality service and ensuring that all items are properly handled. To maintain the best possible customer experience, we have established the following policy regarding the inspection of clothing during pick-up:

  1. Clothing Inspection at Pick-Up:
    We strongly recommend that all items be tried on/inspected at the time of pick-up.
  2. Responsibility for Issues:
    If items are not tried on/inspected at the time of pick-up, we are not responsible for any issues or discrepancies that may be discovered after the clothing has left the store.
  3. Timely Communication of Concerns:
    If any issues are found at pick-up, please notify us immediately so we can work to resolve the situation promptly. We ask that any concerns be communicated at the time of pick-up to allow us the opportunity to make things right.
  4. Payments must be made in full before we start any work. Certain garments require an in-person evaluation with our team to determine the cost and time required for the work. An invoice will be issued following this assessment. No work will commence prior to payment.
  5. Rush: Items will be subject to an additional rush fee.

   6. Storage: We are not responsible for clothing left 30 days past due date. After 30 days, garments will be sent to an off site storage facility. The price for retrieving storage items is $40. 

Items will be donated 60 days past due date.

   7. Deposits: All deposits and tailoring fees are non-refundable. No exceptions.
